Glen Carbon, IL - Tracy Lynn Owens, 58 of Glen Carbon, IL passed away at 8:49 am on Monday, May 13, 2025 at home with her family by her side.

Tracy was born on February 15, 1967 the daughter of Dan and Judithanne Stuebe Henk in Danville, IL. She married John Owens on November 14, 1992 in Danville IL and he survives.

She graduated from Schlarman High School in 1985 and furthered her education by studying Psychology at SIU-Edwardsville.

Tracy held several jobs during her working career including Quik Trip Corporation, YP, and Fleishman Hillard.

She enjoyed being outdoors doing yardwork, attending her kids sporting events, spending time with family and watching Chicago Cubs baseball games.

Survivors include her husband, John Owens of Glen Carbon, IL, her children, Matthew Owens of Glen Carbon and Mackenzie Owens of Glen Carbon, IL, her mother, Judy Henk of Danville, IL, her sister Susan (Phil) Muehl of Danville, IL.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Myrtle and Wilbur Henk, Anna and Wilmer Stuebe and her father, Dan Henk.

Funeral service will be held on Monday, May 19, 2025 at 10:00 am at Trinity Lutheran Church, 824 East Main Street, Danville, Illinois, 61832. Pastor Kent Tibben will officiate. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery Danville, IL. Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 18, 2025 from 2-4:00 pm at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Danville, IL, 3940 N Vermillion Street Danville, Illinois 61834.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Tracy's memory to St. Jude's Research Hospital or Dementia Society of America.
