Terry Benjaman Borgwald, 82, went to be with the Lord on March 22, 2025.

Born October 6, 1942 the son of Wilbur and Amanda (Matthews) Borgwald. He married his "soulmate" Dorothy "Jeannie" Crippin on December 22, 1963.

Survivors include his wife, Jeannie Borgwald; two daughter, Alix (Heath) Walker and Gwen (Ray) Knight; three grandsons, Cody, Bryr, and Jake; one granddaughter, Leah; two great-granddaughters, Aubrey and Gracie; and his twin brother, Larry Borgwald.

Terry was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Marlene Garner.

Terry graduated from Eastern Illinois University and retired from Hyster-Yale in 2002.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:30 PM on Saturday, March 29, 2025 at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Danville, Illinois, 3940 N Vermilion St. Danville, Illinois 61834. Pastor Wally Holt will officiate. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery with Military Rites accorded by American Legion Post 210 Honor Guard. Visitation will be held from 12:30-1:30 PM on Saturday, March 29, 2025 at the funeral home.
