Ridge Farm, Illinois - Steven "Steve" Michael Moreland, 67, of Ridge Farm, Illinois passed away at 10:08 am on Saturday, February 11, 2023, at his home.

Steve was born October 14, 1955, in Danville, Illinois to Wayne Allen and Gwen Larrance Moreland. He married Joy Guthrie on August 10, 1974, in Georgetown, Illinois. Surviving are: his mother: Gwen Price of Ridge Farm, Illinois; one son: Michael Moreland; two daughters: Julie Ann (Michael) Mullaney and Emily Ludington; one brother: Jeff Moreland of Indianola, Illinois; one sister: Mary Moreland of Springfield, Illinois; and four grandchildren: Sophia Grace Mullaney, Olivia Belle Mullaney, Gabe Ludington, and Elizabeth Ludington. He was preceded in death by his father.

Steve graduated from Ridge Farm High School and was a lifelong farmer. He was an avid fisherman who loved woodworking, deer hunting, and especially mushroom hunting.

Funeral services 11 am on Wednesday, February 15, 2023, at Robison Chapel, Catlin, Illinois with Pastor Jim Hollingsworth and Pastor David Almy officiating.
