Oakwood, IL - Steven D. Musson, 68, of Oakwood, IL passed away at 2:25 PM on May 31, 2025 at his home in Oakwood, IL.

Steven was born on February 8, 1957 the son of Wilbur and Doris (Fourez) Musson in Danville, IL. He was formerly married to Tammy Davis and later married Tammy Dean on October 7, 2002 and Tammy Dean-Musson preceded him in death on June 25, 2022.

Survivors include his daughters, Holly (Dustin) Hires of Oakwood, IL and Jessica Musson of Danville four grandchildren, Gavyn Reifsteck, Carter Reifsteck, Richard Hires and Olivia Sanchez, one brother, Bruce Musson, special friends, Doug and Peggy Rodgers and Todd Crawford and his beloved dog, "Molly".

Steven is preceded in death by his parents, wife, Tammy Dean-Musson and one sister, Deborah Stiles.

Steven enjoyed spending his free time watching NASCAR races and cheering on Denny Hamblin. He also enjoyed woodworking projects in his shop, building bon fires with his grandchildren and taking them on tractor rides.

As per his wishes, cremation rites will be accorded, and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Danville, IL, 3940 N Vermillion Street Danville, Illinois 61834 is assisting the family with arrangements.
