Sheila "Mickey" Ann (Ehrnwald) Stephen, age 76 of rural Williamsport, IN, passed away at 2:15 p.m. on Monday, June 13, 2022 surrounded by her loving family at Autumn Trace Senior Community in Attica where she had been a resident since March 2018.

Mickey was born on May 14, 1946 in Williamsport, IN. She was the daughter of James F. and Ida Kathryn (Beckett) Ehrnwald. Mickey lived in Armstrong, IL until 7th grade when her father passed away. Her mother bought a farm in Warren County and she had resided in Warren County since. Mickey was a 1964 graduate of Seeger High School. She received her associate's degree from Indiana State University. Mickey married Dennis W. Stephen on April 9, 1967 at the Williamsport Christian Church and he survives.

Mickey worked as an assistant secretary in West Lafayette Schools. She then worked at the law office for Ned & Jim McCabe until 1973. In 1973 Mickey began farming with her father-in-law, Wayne, and husband, Dennis, where she worked ground with an open tractor. She was a volunteer aide at Warren Central Elementary for many years.

Mickey was a member of Hickman Heights Christian Church. She was a devout Christian who never missed church. Mickey was selfless and always gave without others knowing and would never accept anything in return.She rarely missed her boys and later grandchildren's activities. Mickey enjoyed mowing, cooking, sewing, and reading. She loved the outdoors. Mickey loved spending time in the Florida Keys with her family, especially fishing.

3 sons, Travis Stephen of rural Williamsport, IN, Mark Stephen (Kris) of rural Williamsport, IN, and Aaron L. Stephen (Farrah) of Greenwood, IN;

9 grandchildren, J. Khole Stephen (Alexa), Khayne Stephen, Khal Stephen, Gwyn Stephen, Noah Stephen, Sydney Stephen, Eathan Stephen, Tara Stephen, and Whitney Stephen;

1 great-granddaughter, Khynzli Stephen;

1 sister, Sharon Bone (Gene);

1 sister-in-law, Patty Ehrnwald of Danville, IL

Mickey was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Dennis Ehrnwald.

Visitation will be at Hickman Heights Christian Church, 3291 N 100 E Williamsport, IN 47993, on Saturday, June 18, 2022 from 11:00 a.m. until service time at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Ian Costandi officiating.
