Covington, Indiana - Ronald "Ron" Lloyd McGaha, 83, of Covington, passed away on January 12th, 2026, at the Veterans Home in Danville, IL. Born February 6th, 1942, in Brevard, NC, Ron graduated from Covington High School in 1961.
Ron married Patricia Ann Majors on April 16th, 1963. She preceded him in death in 1992. Ron was a Vietnam War Veteran. He married Jeanine Hughes in October of 2012. She survives.
Also surviving are his 2 sisters, 3 sons, 14 grandchildren, and 20 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his twin brother, Donald; daughter-in-law, Debbie; and infant son, Nathan.
A visitation will be held on January 17th at the First Baptist Church in Covington from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM (EST) with a funeral service to follow at 2:00 PM. Pastor Andy Harkleroad will be officiating.
