Robert Dean "Bob" Bailey, 69, of Veedersburg, passed away 4:22 PM Wednesday February 1, 2023 at Franciscan Health in Crawfordsville, Indiana.

Bob was born April 8, 1953 in Covington, IN the son of Paul L. and Elva E. (Purple) Bailey; his father has preceded him in death.

Surviving family include his mother, Elva E. Bailey, Crawfordsville; two brothers, Don (Sherry) Bailey, Veedersburg; Ron (Tammy) Bailey, Bloomingdale; his long-time lady friend, Linda M. Roseman, Tilton, IL; her daughter and girls who he loved as his own, Robyn Heffern, Hannah, and Madison; and many nieces, nephews, and good friends.

Bob graduated from Covington High School in 1971; he was employed for 35 years at KIK Industries in Danville, IL in the maintenance department prior to his retirement in 2020.

He enjoyed spending time with his friends and family. He was especially proud of the 1948 Willys Jeep he had restored, and enjoyed driving it around the community. He enjoyed Nascar racing, with both Dale Earnhardt Sr. and Jr. being his favorite drivers.

Funeral service will be 11:00 AM Thursday February 9, 2023 at Dickerson Funeral Home with Bill Carpenter officiating. Visitation will be 5:00 - 8:00 PM Wednesday February 8, 2023 at Dickerson Funeral Home. Burial will be at Mt Hope Cemetery in Covington.
