Tilton, Illinois - Patricia Rose Howard, 65, of Tilton, Illinois passed away at 11:58 am on Sunday, August 13, 2023, at the Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana, Illinois.

Patricia was born November 26, 1957, in Danville, Illinois to Jim Lee and Pat White Gouty. She married Kevin Legg and then later married Gilbert Howard on July 21, 2007, in Danville, Illinois. He survives. Also surviving are: one son: Daniel (Char Cundiff) Howard of Tilton, Illinois; one daughter: Tia (John) Walter of Danville, Illinois; two brothers: Joseph Gouty of Grand Prairie, Texas and Mark (Mary) Gouty of Danville, Illinois; three sisters: Brenda Houldridge of Alvin, Illinois, Pam Jones of Danville, Illinois, and Crystal (Rusty) Dicken of Danville, Illinois; two grandchildren: Noah and Claire Walter; special friend: Linda Boyer; special cousin: Linda Cotton; and a special niece: Jennifer Richards. She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother: David Gouty; and three nephews: Darrell Houldridge, Kurt Gouty, and Kyle Gouty.

Patrica attended DACC and was a CNA. She enjoyed making no-sew blankets for the residents at the nursing homes, rummage sales, making crafts, playing cards and board games, participating in secret Santa every year, being outside, going to Turkey Run and looking for Indian beads, gardening, going to dinner, dancing, and spending time with people she loved.

Funeral services 2:00 pm on Friday, August 18, 2023, at Robison Chapel, Catlin, Illinois. Burial in Greenwood Cemetery, Danville, Illinois with Pastor James Ford officiating.
