WILLIAMSPORT, Ind. — Mickey Lou "Mick" Kenworthy, age 79 of Williamsport, IN passed away at 2:15 a.m. on Saturday, November 27, 2021 at the Waters of Covington.

Mick was born on February 10, 1942 in Williamsport, IN. He was the son of Paul E. and Mary Jane (Beason) Kenworthy. Mick was a 1960 graduate of Seeger Memorial High School and was a lifelong Warren County resident. He was married to Lois Taylor Hensley.

Mick was an electronic tech at Fairfield Gear in Lafayette, IN. He was previously a Local 841 operating engineer.

Mick was a member of Hickman Heights Christian Church. He was a charter member of United Electronics Laborers of Louisville, KY and a member of the Local 841 Union. Mick enjoyed playing euchre and bingo, woodworking, playing scratch off lottery tickets, and driving around in his truck. In his early years he enjoyed riding motorcycles and won several trophies.

Surviving are, 2 children, Kerri Thurman (husband: Dan) of Williamsport, IN and Ken Kenworthy (wife: Johanna) of Okeechobee, FL; 3 grandchildren, Jenna Gregg (Floyd), Chloe Cronk, and Samuel Kenworthy;

4 great-grandchildren, Sawyer Cronk, Dani Lynn Gregg, Cooper Cronk, Willow Gregg;

1 brother, Leonard Franklin "Frank" Kenworthy of rural Attica;

and 1 sister-in-law, Mary Jane Kenworthy of Plainfield, IN.

Mick was preceded in death by his parents, and brother, Larry Paul Kenworthy.

Visitation will be at Grady Funeral Home in Williamsport on Friday, December 3, 2021 from 11:00 a.m. until service time at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Ian Costandi officiating. Interment will follow at West Lebanon Cemetery. The family would like to extend their appreciation to the Waters of Covington staff. Memorial contributions may be made to the Warren County Community Foundation Miss Beason Fund.
