Danville, IL - Megan Nicole Arnold, 36, a lifelong resident of Danville, IL, passed away at 8:40 A.M. Wednesday, February 11, 2026 at her home. She was born October 10, 1989, in Urbana, IL the daughter of William D. "Bill" and Teresa (Finley) Arnold. Her mother survives her.

She was preceded in death by her father and her grandparents, Clovis and Dorothy Arnold of Danville, IL and Robert and Margaret Finley of Danville, IL.

Megan was a 2009 graduate from First Baptist Christian School. She then attended culinary arts classes at DACC. Megan loved cooking, attending coaches vs. cancer events, and her yellow lab Daisy. She also loved to watch U of I basketball with her dad and she was honored to sit on the U of I basketball bench at a home game with Bruce Weber. A highlight of her life was a trip to New York City to see the Rockettes Christmas show and a horse drawn carriage ride through Central Park. Although Megan struggled with health issues her entire life, she was always positive and joyful and everyone loved her as soon as they met her. She was a pleasure to be around. She was witty and liked to tease and be teased by her family and friends.

Cremation rites will be accorded. A visitation will be held 11:00 A.M. - 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, February 18, 2026 at Northside Church of Christ 17167 E. 2750 North Rd. Bismarck, IL 61814. The memorial service will follow the visitation and begin at 1:00 P.M. at the church with Mike Robling officiating. Burial will be held at Johnson Cemetery in Danville.
