Max Taylor Obituary
Max Eric (Mick) Taylor, of Danville passed away Thursday, November 19, 2020 at OSF Sacred Heart Medical Center of Covid pneumonia.
Max was born March 11, 1951, the son of Everett and Julia (Bertelli) Taylor.
He married Tracey Maire at the Vermilion County Courthouse on August 31, 2007. She survives.
He was previously married to Lorri Taylor to which they had one daughter, Rebecca.
He is also survived by a son Christopher (Rhonda) of Miami, OK.
Max is preceded in death by his parents, his brothers Kenneth, Lester (Bill), Evan and his sisters Lois, Esther, and Pat.
Max was employed at Auto Zone for 21 years. He retired as a police officer in May 2009 after 30 years of service. He worked several departments, Westville, Georgetown, Ridge Farm and lastly Indianola.
In lieu of flowers, you may donate to the Alzheimer's Association honoring his mother Julia and Tracey's mother Betty.
It is requested that face masks be worn and to practice social distancing.
A memorial service will be held on November 28, 2020 at 5:30 pm with visitation from 3:00 until time of memorial service at the Tilton Community Center at 612 W 5th Street. Online condolences: www.rortvedtfuneralservices.com.
