Yorba Linda, CA - Marshall Dean Smith, 52, passed away on Oct 7, 2025. He was born May 17, 1973 in Southeastern Indiana.

The son of Dale and Janet Smith, whom proceeded him in death. He is survived by one brother, Matthew Smith; three children, Riley, Landyn, and Nolan Smith and his wife Katie Smith.

Marshall graduated from Bismarck High School in 1991. He studied architecture at the University of Illinois and worked as an architect in Yorba Linda, CA.

Marshall loved his children with all his heart, and loved the Lord. He had a courageous eight year battle with cancer, in which he never gave up. A legacy of love. He will be so very missed.

There will be a celebration of life, Saturday, November 22 @ 11am, with visitation at 10 am at the Go Church in Alvin, IL. Pastor Dan Hunt will officiate.
