Savannah, Georgia - Linda Sue (Delanois) Liggett, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and sister, passed away on April 10, 2025, at the age of 68, after spending her final days surrounded by family in Florida.

Linda was born on September 8, 1956, to Donald and Rita (Rakausky) Delanois of Westville, Illinois. She was a 1975 graduate of Westville High School and subsequently attended Lake View College of Nursing. Following the completion of her education, Linda worked as a registered nurse at United Samaritans Hospital in Danville, Illinois until she stepped away from nursing to care for her family. Her gift of caring for others was passed along to her daughter, Kaylee, who now works as a Nurse Anesthesiologist.

For the last 5 years, Linda has resided in Savannah, Georgia with her husband, Ricky Liggett, following his retirement. While in Georgia, she enjoyed tending to flowers and plants, going to the beach at Tybee Island, exploring the riverside establishments, and traveling down to visit her family in Florida.

Family was at the center of Linda's world. No matter what was going on in her life, she always made time for family, to listen, laugh, and make sure they knew they were loved. The happiness of her family was what brought joy to her each day.

Linda is survived by her husband Rick Liggett and her four children, Justin Bryant, Lindsay (Joe) Jesteadt, Nathan (Katie) Liggett, and Kaylee (Max) Conrad. Her legacy continues through her cherished grandchildren: Ella, Noah, & Lily. Linda is also remembered lovingly by her siblings, Ken Delanois, Barbara Delanois, Karyn Delanois, and Jain Delanois, alongside many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Rita Delanois, who she loved and missed very much, but will be welcoming her at the gates of heaven.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a future date with family and friends and she will be buried at Sts. Peter and Paul Cemetery in Westville, Illinois.
