Indianapolis, IN - Indianapolis, IN - Larry Marlin White, 88 of Indianapolis IN passed away on Sept. 13, 2025. Larry was born in Danville IL to Noah & Edith (Cunningham) White on Nov 21, 1936.

Larry married Sue Carol Budnovich on Dec. 17, 1960. Together they raised their children: Cindy Gee of Alabama, Chris (Pam) White of Danville, IL, Connie Britton of Indianapolis IN, Kim (Roger) Satterwhite of Celina, TX, and Dawn (Tim) Lee of Avon IN.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents, son Richard White, daughter Crystal Tipton, and grandson Joshua White. He was also preceded in death by 2 brothers and 8 sisters.

Larry and Sue were blessed with special daughter-in-law Susan (White) Howe, 13 grandchildren, many great grandchildren and two very special people Wayne Fritz and Rhonda Damery. Above all else, Larry's heart belonged to his family.

Larry lived a remarkable life, filled with service, hard work, and devotion to his family. A proud United States Marine, he carried the discipline, courage, and integrity he learned during his service into every part of his life. He was past president of the Danville Homebuilder's Association and Eastern IL Shriners, where he found purpose in giving back to others.

Larry learned the construction trade from his father. With these skills, he founded and operated White Construction, where his craftsmanship and leadership left a lasting mark on his community.

Larry loved time with family, motorcycles, boating, reading and playing golf.

A celebration of Larry's life will be held on September 18, 2025 at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 3940 N. Vermilion St., Danville, IL 61834. Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM with funeral services immediately following. Burial will be at Spring Hill Cemetery in Danville. Family and friends are warmly invited to gather, share memories, and honor a man who lived fully and loved deeply.
