Katie was what I considered a “bonus” grandma. She always welcomed me into her home and gave me a snack when I would visit with Melissa. She and Don were at every sporting event and would always give hugs and encouragement after each game. Katie will always hold a special place in my heart!

Miss Katie was a very special lady. She loved to sing or talk about her growing up years on the farm. She loved warm pumpkin pie and chocolate pudding. It was my pleasure to have known her.

I attended Bismarck High with Katie before she moved and attended Danville High. I last saw her and Don at the Danville Mall several years ago. They were grandparent sitting a young grandson by the last name of Cunningham. I;m so sorry for your loss, and I will always remember Katie as one of my best friends of the Bismarck High days.

So very sorry for your family's loss. I worked with Katie at the Credit Bureau for about 5 years back in the late 70s early 80s. We had so much fun. Loved her sense of humor
