Judith  Carpenter
Judith "Judy" Kay Carpenter passed away at 7:50 a.m. Monday, January 21, 2020, at Liberty Village of Clinton Ill.
She was born in Danville, Ill., on December 3, 1948, to Logan and Anna Carpenter. She graduated from Danville High School in 1967.
Judy is survived by her son, Jim Buckley (Rachel) of Bloomington, Ill.; daughter, Bethany Buckley (Michael Ayers) of Indianapolis; grandson, Kaleb Wille of Bloomington, Ill.; and her sister, Carole Applegate of Danville.
Judy spent most of her adult life in Attica, Ind., and had a passion for reading, especially history, and writing poetry. She enjoyed trips to Lake Kabetogama, Minn., where she would hike, fish and boat.
She was a longtime manager of Goodwill in West Lafayette, Ind.
Judy loved spending time with her family.
