Danville, Illinois - Joyce N. Leverenz, 83, of Danville, Illinois, passed away at 1:25 pm on Tuesday, February 28, 2023, at the Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana, Illinois.

Joyce was born January 8, 1940, in Danville, Illinois to Charles and Opal "Cricket" O'Reilly Quartier. She married William Leverenz on October 22, 1960, at the Grace Methodist Church in Danville. Surviving are: one son: Mitchell (Julie) Leverenz of Oakwood, Illinois; one daughter: Julie (Curt) Ronto of Bismarck, Illinois; five grandchildren: Dustin (Jessica) Leverenz, Derek (Fiancé Kapri Krople) Leverenz, Bailee (Gordon) Davis, Ashlee (Josh) Fulton, and Lesley White; and four great-grandchildren: Oliver Leverenz, Gray and Baker Davis, and Andrew White. She was preceded in death by one brother: Charles Quartier; and one sister: Betty Mansfield.

Joyce graduated from Westville high school. She worked alongside her husband and son in the operation of their family business, Leverenz Memorials. She was a member of the St. James United Methodist Church. Bill & Joyce enjoyed their trips to the Smokey Mountains in Gatlinburg, Tennessee. She loved reading, working puzzles, eating out - especially Cahill's, and spending time with her family.

Funeral services 11 am on Friday, March 3, 2023, at Robison Chapel in Catlin, Illinois with Reverend David Garver officiating. Burial in the Spring Hill Cemetery in Danville, Illinois. Visitation is from 10 to 11 am on Friday, March 3, 2023, at Robison Chapel in Catlin, Illinois.
