Veedersburg, Indiana - Jerry Lee Edwards, 61, of Veedersburg IN, passed away at his residence 8:17 AM Wednesday May 24, 2023.

Jerry was born August 1, 1961 in Danville, IL the son of Sidney "Sam" and Georgia Edwards (Morris). He married Candi L. (Lambert) January 15, 2021 in Oakwood, IL.

Jerry served his country in the United States Air Force after graduating high school. He had been employed as a jet mechanic in Texas and most recently was the shop foreman at the Fountain County Highway Garage. He was a member of the Fairview Sportsman Club in Oakland IL.

Jerry was very a passionate about his family and friends. He enjoyed playing pool, golfing with his son, hunting with his best friend Jerry T, fishing with his grandkids, riding his Harley with his wife, and grilling out for his "motley crew".

He was preceded in death by his mother, stepfather Charles Morris, and brother Jeff Edwards.

Surviving are his wife Candi L Edwards, Veedersburg; father Sam (Janice) Edwards, Catlin IL; sons & daughters, Ashley (Nathan) Short; Kokomo IN; Josh (Jordan) Edwards, Lafayette IN; Nathan (Cassie) Davis West Lafayette, IN; Becca (Garrett) Brown, Carmel, IN; Tiffany Edwards, Lafayette, IN; Georgia (Matt) Wooten, Lafayette, IN; Hannah Snider, Veedersburg IN; Caleb Snider, Hillsboro IN; Isaac Snider, Veedersburg IN; sisters and brothers, Leonard (Connie) Huffman, Rossville, IL; Loren (Kim) Huffman, Cloverdale, IN; Pam (Dean) Schimanski, St Peters, MO; Cheryl Parrott, Kokomo, IN; Cindi (Todd) Scott, Catlin IL; Jason (Susie) Edwards, Catlin, IL; eight grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday August 5th at the 40 and 8 club located at 1421 N Creasy Ln, Lafayette, IN from 12 pm to 2:30 pm. In lieu of flowers the family asks that you make contributions in Jerry's honor to Purdue Cancer Research- www.purdue.edu/cancer-research/
