Jamie L. Yanders-Sternberger, 40, of Danville, was sent to heaven to be with her loved ones on Sunday, Dec. 29, 2013.. Services will begin at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 3, at Pape Family Funeral Home, 10 E. Williams St. in Danville, with the Rev. Scott McCurdy officiating. Visitation will be from 11:30-1:30 p.m. Friday at Pape's. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery.. Jamie was born Jan. 8, 1973, in Danville to Leonard Yanders and Donna Allen. She attended Danville grade schools and Oakwood High School, graduating in 1991, and going on to take classes at Danville Area Community College. Jamie has worked at UPS for the past three years, and her coworkers have become her family.. Jamie's only true fault in life is that she trusted and loved too much. She was generous to a fault. She would give anything to help anyone to make them smile. She had her family and friends who loved her so. Her true joys were her two sons and her family. She loved getting ready for the holidays. She would spend weeks in preparation and then hours helping aunt Sharon put it all together. She loved teasing her aunts Gloria and Phyllis and her uncle Danny with her Christmas goodies.. Jamie married Robert Winters in April of 1994, and the two had two children together.. She will be sadly missed by her two sons, Stetson and Dakota Winters; her mother, Donna K. Yanders; her sisters, Robin Jackson (Michael Hayden) and Michelle Jackson (Shannon Lithgow); her dad, Leonard Yanders; and many, many aunts, uncles and cousins.. She was preceded in death by her Grandma Allen, Grandpa Allen, Uncle Lennie, her cousin Brittaney Allen and a brother, Cliff Cramer..
