Hazel Swick Obituary

Hazel (Brewer) Swick was born April 29, 1929, in Kentucky and passed away peacefully May 15, 2019, at North Logan Health Care with her family by her side.

Hazel is survived by her seven children, Mary Sue (Rod), Fred, Rebecca, Robert (Judy), Charles, Scott and Lucy (Billy). Her daughters, Niki and June (Steve), and her sons, Martin and Jim, preceded her in death.

Hazel had a large, loving family and cherished every moment she spent with them. She had many grandchildren and great-grandchildren whom she enjoyed having by her side. She had many people who passed through her life and her home and she loved them all.

A special thank you to Harbor Light Hospice for helping her live her best life right up until the end. She had a very special bond with her nurse Pat. Hazel spent the last several years at North Logan Health Care and they became an extended family to her.

You never wondered if she loved you; she made sure you knew.

There will be a memorial service in her honor 1-5 p.m. May 26 at Days Inn, Danville. For online condolences: www.rortvedtfuneralservices.com
