Tilton, Illinois - Gilbert T. Howard, 60, of Tilton, Illinois, passed away at 6:39 am on Sunday, November 5, 2023, at the Paris Health & Rehab Center, Paris, Illinois.
Gilbert was born September 1, 1963, in Danville, Illinois to Gilbert Francis and Charlotte Clark Howard. He married Patricia Rose Gouty on July 21, 2007, in Danville, Illinois. She preceded him in death on August 13, 2023. Surviving are: one son: Daniel Howard of Tilton, Illinois; one daughter: Tia (John) Walter of Danville, Illinois; two sisters: Jenny Halls of Danville, Illinois and Janice Lynn Wynn of Danville, Illinois; two grandchildren: Noah Walter and Claire Walter.
Gilbert was a truck driver who enjoyed motorcycle riding, especially dirt bikes, being outdoors, Harry Potter movies and birds.
Graveside services at 3:00 pm on Thursday, November 16, 2023, at the Greenwood Cemetery, Danville, Illinois with Steve Cordle officiating. Memorials to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Robison Chapel, Catlin is handling the arrangements. Online condolences at www.robisonchapel.com.
