Dorothy Mae (Mickey) Paris passed away at home surrounded by her sons on March 18, 2017 at 8:36 p.m. Dorothy was born March 8, 1937, in Danville, to Annabell and Carl Roberts.

Dorothy married the love of her life, Edward J. Paris Sr. on Dec. 31, 1956, in Paxton, he preceded her in death on June 10, 2010.

She is survived by her sister, Carol Ann Willis of Missouri and her four sons, Edward (Erica) Paris Jr., Carl Paris (Jackie Curry), Jimmie Paris and David Paris all of Danville. She is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Elmer; and three sisters Janet Ritter, Roseline Phelps and Margaret Brant.

Her life revolved around her family, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a house wife and enjoyed cross word puzzles, cook outs and having her morning coffee with her special friend, Cora Bales.

Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Friday, March 24, at Danville National Cemetery. Rortvedt Funeral Services & Crematory, in Tilton, is assisting the family. Online condolences: www.rortvedtfuneralservices.com.
