Doris M. McNamara
Doris M. McNamara, 95, of Danville, passed away Friday, October 18, 2019.
Doris was born January 18, 1924, in Vincennes, Ind., the daughter of Joseph Chester and Cuma Eileen Dora.
She married Joseph E. McNamara on January 18, 1946, in Danville Ill. He preceded her in death in 2011.
She also was preceded in death by her parents; son, Kevin; brother, Joseph; and sister, Juanita.
Doris attended Danville schools, graduating from DHS. She completed training as a Registered Nurse, graduating from St. Elizabeth's School of Nursing, class of 1945.
Joseph and Doris raised eight children and were active members of St. Patrick, later Holy Family Roman Catholic parish.
She is survived by her children, James (Jill) McNamara, Daniel (Nancy) McNamara, Mary (David) Pritchett, Nancy (Craig) Ebersole, Carol (Michael) Conklin, Maureen McNamara and John (Jeanette) McNamara. Doris also is survived by her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Thursday, October 24, at Kruger-Coan-Pape Funeral Home, 10 E. Williams St., Danville. Rosary will follow at 7 p.m. Thursday. Funeral Mass will be at 11 a.m. Friday, October 25, at Holy Family Church, 444 E. Main St., Danville, with burial to follow at Resurrection Cemetery.

McNamara family, so very sorry to hear of Doris passing.
Joe and Doris were our CFM leaders many years ago and I have many wonderful memories of our get togethers. They were a couple that set a perfect example of Catholic family. Prayers for you all.
