Donald Eugene "Don" (Hank) Frye, age 83 of rural Williamsport, IN, went to be with the Lord Jesus Christ on Monday, June 7, 2021 at 8:10 p.m. EDT at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana, IL

Don was born on May 10, 1938 in Potomac, IL. He was the son of Charles W. and Trentja A. "Tina" (Huls) Frye. Don was a 1956 graduate of Armstrong High School. He married Marie Wills on June 7, 1959 at the West Lebanon Christian Church and she survives. Don was a lifelong resident of Warren County.

Don farmed with his dad when he was younger and later farmed on his own, raising cattle and hogs. He had worked at Hyster in Danville, IL for 45 years.

Don was an active member of the Church of Living Water, previously serving as an elder and a board member. He enjoyed building and inventing things and reading his Bible. Don had a passion for helping others in need and was very generous. He loved his family with his whole heart and especially enjoyed spending time with them. Don was a hard-working man who passed his work ethic on to his sons and grandchildren.

Surviving with his wife, Marie, are,

4 sons, Charles (Lisa) Frye, Stephen (Deanna) Frye, David (Dawn) Frye, and Bradley (Linda) Frye;

3 sisters, Shirley Prevette, Janis Withers, and Bonnie Withers;

8 grandchildren, Lacey (Derek) McMillan, Casey (Kat) Frye, Ryan Frye, Lyndsey (Jacob) Budreau, Joshua (Shannon) Frye, Ashley (Blake) Collins, Katie Frye, and Bret Frye;

7 great-grandchildren, Attalia, Gavin, Wyatt, Conrad, Lucas, Julian, Keenan, and a new great-grand baby boy expected in August;

Marvin, his miniature dachshund, from whom he was inseparable.

Don was preceded in death by his parents and 1 sister, Patricia Williams.

Visitation will be held at the Church of Living Water, 5655 W 500 S, Williamsport, IN 47993, on Friday, June 11, 2021 from 11:00 a.m. until service time at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Dave Wickens officiating.
