Danville, IL - Delores M. Turner, 84 of Danville, formerly of Paxton, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 15, 2025.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, May 19, 2025, at Baier Family Funeral Services, 406 E. Pells Street, Paxton with Pastor Adam Harmon officiating. Burial will follow in Glen Cemetery, Paxton.
Visitation will be one hour before the service on Monday from 10:00-11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
Delores was born to Earl and Hilda Henson Mott on March 4, 1941, in Cropsey. After attending Gibson City High School, Delores married John Turner of Paxton. He preceded her in death in 2020. They lived in Paxton where they raised four children.
She is survived by her children Pam (Richard) DeVroeg of Wadsworth, Tina Stout of Danville, Mark Turner of Rantoul, Marvin Turner of Danville; 9 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, a brother Donald (Maureen) Mott of Mahomet, sister-in-law Patricia Tipsord of Paxton and a brother-in-law, Larry (Sandy) Turner of Durango, Colorado.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Hilda Mott, her husband John and sister, Donna Imhoff.
Delores was a homemaker until the children were older. She worked at Stevens Printing Company and then Ford County Nursing Home until her health required her to retire.
