Clara Louise Brady
Clara Louise Brady of Wichita, Kan., formerly of Danville, Ill., passed peacefully at the age of 88 on Tuesday, February 11, 2020.
She was born August 16, 1931, to Ernest "Pete" Wright and Mildred Watson Wright.
On February 14, 1977, she married the love of her life, Max Walden Brady.
Clara worked in nursing at the VA hospital in Danville for almost 30 years. She considered it a privilege to take care of our military veterans.
She loved reading a good mystery and riding on the motorcycle with Max.
Clara was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; brothers, Ernest "Pat" Wright and William "Doc" Wright; and great-granddaughter Kyla Kinney.
She is survived by her brother, John Daniel Wright; children, Kelly (David) Wallace, Pete Frazier, Sidney (Brad) Brush and Neil (Angela) Frazier; grandchildren, Brent Kinney, Todd Kinney, Ashley Zimmerman, David (Sara) Wallace II, Lauren (Drew) Kopla, Keri (Luis) Lopez, Tyler Ann Brush, Dallas Robinson and Mason Robinson; great-grandchildren, Bradlee Kinney, Samuel, Maxwell and Paisley Zimmerman; sister-in-law, Diana Taylor; a host of nieces and nephews who loved her dearly; and special friend, Mary Hooks.
She made many friends while at Life Care Center of Wichita and the family would like to thank those who cared for her while she was there. A special thanks to Phoenix Hospital, especially to Lori and Chaplin Mike. Clara will be missed by many.
Per her wishes there will be no services. Memorials may be made at Kansas Humane Society, Wichita, Kansas, Friends of Felines and the Vermilion County Human Society, Danville, Ill.
