Westville, Illinois - Catherine Fridmanski, 93, of Westville, Illinois, passed away at 5:41 am on Sunday, July 2, 2023, at her home.

Catherine was born February 12, 1930, in Danville, Illinois to Steve & Mary Kerkes Marjancik. She married Robert J. Fridmanski on May 13, 1950, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Westville, Illinois. Robert preceded her in death. Survivors include three sons: Timothy J. (Kathy) Fridmanski, Thomas Fridmanski, and Raymond Fridmanski; one daughter-in-law: Anita Fridmanski; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Catherine was preceded in death by one son: Robert Fridmanski; four brothers; and two sisters.

She had worked as part of the cafeteria staff at Judith Giacoma Grade School in Westville for 16 years. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Westville, as well as the Rosary & Alter Society. She also belonged to the former Westville Women's Lions Club. Catherine enjoyed rummage sales, playing Bunko, and was involved in Weight Watchers.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 am on Saturday, July 8, 2023, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Westville, Illinois, Father Timothy Sauppe as celebrant. Burial will follow in Sts. Peter & Paul Cemetery in Westville. Rosary will be recited at 10 am on Saturday at St. Mary's Catholic Church. Memorials in her memory to St. Mary's Catholic Church.
