Danville, Illinois - Carl J. Waclaw, 91, of Danville, Illinois passed away at 9:35 am on Thursday, January 18, 2024, at Accolade Healthcare of Danville, Illinois.

Carl was born March 24, 1932, in Westville, Illinois to Boleslaw and Johanna Kerkes Waclaw. Surviving are: two daughters: Cindy Sams of Westville, Illinois and Lori Nixon of Danville, Illinois; two step-daughters, Cathy ( Dennis ) Tiernan, Danville, Illinois, Cheryl Dowers, Danville, Illinois, also his grandchildren: Brooklynn McCoy, Mandy Burress, Tony Tiernan, A. J. Sykes, Allison Serd, Lucy Nixon, Jack Nixon, He was preceded in death by two brothers: Robert and Raymond Waclaw, as well as one sister Caroline Hover.,

Carl served in the US Navy and had retired from Hyster in Danville, Illinois after 31 years. And was a member of Westville American Legion Post 21. The family would like to thank Misty, Aaron, and Tracy at Accolade Heathcare, for their help during his final days.

Funeral services 11:30 am Tuesday, January 23, 2024, at Robison Chapel in Catlin with Father Timothy Sauppé officiating. Visitation is from 10:30 am till service time on Tuesday at Robison Chapel. Burial in Resurrection Catholic Cemetery, Danville, Illinois with military honors conducted by American Legion Post 210. Memorials to Westville American Legion in care of Robison Chapel Post Office Box 79 Catlin, Illinois 61817. On-line condolences at www.robisonchapel.com.
