Danville, Illinois - Carl J. Waclaw, 91, of Danville, Illinois passed away at 9:35 am on Thursday, January 18, 2024, at Accolade Healthcare of Danville, Illinois.

Carl was born March 24, 1932, in Westville, Illinois to Boleslaw and Johanna Kerkes Waclaw. Surviving are: two daughters: Cindy Sams of Westville, Illinois and Lori Nixon of Danville, Illinois; two step-daughters, Cathy ( Dennis ) Tiernan, Danville, Illinois, Cheryl Dowers, Danville, Illinois, also his grandchildren: Brooklynn McCoy, Mandy Burress, Tony Tiernan, A. J. Sykes, Allison Serd, Lucy Nixon, Jack Nixon, He was preceded in death by two brothers: Robert and Raymond Waclaw, as well as one sister Caroline Hover.,

Carl served in the US Navy and had retired from Hyster in Danville, Illinois after 31 years. And was a member of Westville American Legion Post 21. The family would like to thank Misty, Aaron, and Tracy at Accolade Heathcare, for their help during his final days.

Funeral services 11:30 am Tuesday, January 23, 2024, at Robison Chapel in Catlin with Father Timothy Sauppé officiating. Visitation is from 10:30 am till service time on Tuesday at Robison Chapel. Burial in Resurrection Catholic Cemetery, Danville, Illinois with military honors conducted by American Legion Post 210.
