Brenda Joyce Cope Shaffer at age 66 of Danville Illinois died on December 11, 2021. She was born June 4th 1955 at Danville Illinois, The daughter of Charles "Bud" Cope and Joyce Marie Cope She was married to Lester Shaffer on October 23 ,1999, and he survives. Also surviving 3 children Jamie (Chad) Green of Graham Washington, Shawn (Barbra Murdoch) Garland of Polo Illinois, Ryan (Elaine Garcia) Spangler of San Antonio Texas. She also has 5 grand children Jacob Green, Jordan Green, David Barnett, Makenna Spangler , Evan Spangler. She has 2 sisters Alice Sollars and Christine Smith and Aunt Nora Sands, also many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by Francine,Ellen, Darla, Charles. Brenda lived her life by no one set of rules she was a true gypsy. She will be missed. She was loved by many. For many years she was a cook. Then she opened a daycare. She loved her daycare kids. Herr hobbies were bingo and playing euchre. As per her wishes she is being cremated. Celebration of life will be Jan 29th 12pm at Sarges Tap in Danville Illinois.
