Danville, Illinois - Bradley Schluter, 49 of rural Danville, died at 10:08 p.m. Tuesday, March 31, 2026, at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital, Park Ridge.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, April 11, 2026, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 108 E. Church Street, Gifford with Pastor Gary Maxwell officiating.

Visitation will be from 4:30-8:30 p.m. Friday, April 10, at the church. Baier Family Funeral Services, Flatville is handling arrangements.

Bradley was born November 30, 1976, in Champaign the son of Alan and Anita Ramm Schluter. He married Leah Farr November 10, 2001, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Gifford. She survives.

Along with his wife, Leah, he is survived by a son, Marshall Schluter and a daughter, Emma Schluter; his parents, Alan and Anita Schluter of Gifford; a brother, Bryan (Becky) Schluter of Gifford; two sisters, Melissa (Darren) Loschen of Fithian, Melanie (Jeb) Kennel of Potomac; his mother-in-law, Susan Farr of Danville and five nieces, seven nephews, two great nephews and one great niece.

He was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Marshall Farr.

Bradley graduated from Armstrong High School in 1995 and attended Parkland College. He was a correctional officer for the Danville Correctional Center and later promoted to an Illinois Correctional Industries Lead Worker.

He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Gifford. Bradley enjoyed playing video games with his son and riding motorcycles. He also enjoyed cooking, grilling and the outdoors. His greatest joy was spending time with his family.
