Billy Dean Martin, 73, of Danville, passed away at 4:08 a.m. Thursday, February 6, 2020, in the comfort of his home.

He was born in Danville, Ill., on February 23, 1947, to Myrtle and Orville Martin.

He married Elizabeth Ann Becker on August 21, 1970.

Billy is preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Allan Martin. Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth; two sisters, Janet Walsh and Linda (David) Jenkins; a daughter, Michelle Martin; grandchildren, Zachary (Desi) Martin, Blaine Pasley, Jordan (Dustin) Morris and Tyler (Kristin) Pasley; four great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews all of whom will miss him dearly.

Bill really loved to spend time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Some of the many things in life he enjoyed would be golfing on beautiful sunny days, reading a good book, playing sudoku puzzles as well as, watching the History Channel and listening to his favorite band, The Beatles.

Services for Billy will be at 11 a.m. Monday, February 10, at Trinity Lutheran Church with a visitation prior starting at 10 a.m. A burial will follow at Lutheran Cemetery. Pastor Kent Tibben will be officiating.
