Beverly was called to be with her Lord and Savior, peacefully passing in her Fort Walton Beach, Florida home on Thursday, 08/06/2020.

She was born May 28, 1940 in Hoopeston, Illinois to parents, Adrian Houmes Sr., and Mabel Grace (Eells)Houmes.

She proudly served the US Air Force as a civilian Contract Specialist for 25 years, retiring in 2004. Her career allowed her to live and travel abroad and was blessed to make many life-long friends around the world. Beverly avidly read her bible and attended church at the Niceville Assembly of God. She dedicated herself to the Lord's work being involved in her church singles group, teaching Sunday school, and bringing ministry to the local women's prison. She lived her life full of joy, happiness, love, family, friends and faith.

Preceded in death by her parents, brothers Robert Houmes and Leland Houmes, sisters Mary Eileen Kent and Betty Milner. She is survived by siblings Adrian Houmes JR (Louise) of IN, Carl Houmes of IL, Helen Wagoner of IL, Trudy Wood (John) of IL, Milton Houmes (Aileene) of IL as well as an abundance of nieces and nephews and their children. She leaves behind her loving children Susan R Lindsay (Terry) of NC and Bradley L Goetzelman (Lisa) of SC. Also survived by grandchildren Charla Simonds (Mike), Jessi Pelszynski, Rachael Bashor, Tricia Moehring (Billy), Kyle Pelszynski and Ryan Goetzelman (Lyssa). Her great grandchildren LeighAnn Scott, Kayla Scott, Neveah Torres, Tristen Turgeon, Dylan Pelszynski, Sylus Pelszynski, Alazya Driggers, Breanna Driggers, Jocelyn Bashor, Levi Driggers, Madyson Driggers, Austen Wooten, Owen Bashor, Avyana Pelszynski, Realynn Cartwright, Riley Goetzelman and Mason Goetzelman, plus great great granddaughter Laytynn Duvall, will miss their Nana's smiles and hugs.
