WESTVILLE - Wanda J. (McMasters) Vecellio, 72, of Westville, passed away at 10:06 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 16, 2017, at Presence United Samaritans Medical Center in Danville.
She was born May 31, 1944, in Eugene, Ind., the daughter of the late Samuel and Ruth Thompson McMasters.
Wanda married Dave Vecellio on April 7, 1990, in Westville. He survives.
Other survivors include two sons, Bryan Trosper of Westville, and David Trosper of Walker, La.; two stepsons, Lance (Ali) Vecellio of Noblesville, Ind., and Tad (Kelly) Goble of Bismarck; three grandchildren, Nancy, Paul and Chase; six great-grandchildren, Levi, Calie, James, Isaac, Axel and Leo; two step-granddaughters, Karsen and Lauren; three brothers, Gerald (Pam) McMasters of Catlin, Paul (Jean) McMasters and John (Sherry) McMasters, both of Cayuga, Ind.; special friend, Penny Miller of Tilton, and several nieces and nephews.
Wanda was preceded in death by two sisters and two brothers.
Wanda retired in 2007 from the Illiana VA Medical Center in Danville, as a Pharmacy Technician. She was a member of the Southside Nazarene Church in Tilton. Wanda was a 1962 graduate of Cayuga High School. She enjoyed sewing, reading, raising flowers, watching birds and supporting the North Vermillion High School athletic teams.
Funeral services: 7 p.m. EST Monday, Feb. 20, 2017, at DeVerter Funeral Home in Cayuga, Ind. Officiating: Pastor Wade Martin. Visitation: 3 p.m. until time of services Monday, Feb. 20, 2017, at the funeral home. Cremation following services will be accorded.
