Tony was a member of the Illiana Off-Roaders 4x4 Jeep Club, Westville Sportsmans Club, and the Fairmount Fishing Club. He served his country in the United States Army Reserve for six years. Tony worked as an Electrician his entire life, starting with Virgil Flick, then Berkley Davis and lastly Jorgenson Electric from where he retired. Tonys family could call on him for help with anything. After he retired, he was often seen mowing not only his yard but neighbors as well. Tony was proud of all his kids and was #1 babysitter with the grandkids and never missed their activities or events. For many years Tony and his family were involved in the Illiana Off Roaders Jeep Club. Tonys handle was Applejack on the CB radio and he was often referred to as Mr. Clean for his ability to crawl out of a mud hole cleaner than most would enter. He loved his 1977 CJ5 and would keep it spotless when not on the trails. Early on Tony spent many good times hunting and fishing with his brother-in-law, Warren, who later became best friends. Tony was still fishing and having lunch with Warren at Henks Café. Tony dearly loved his sister, Carolyn, and would often tell stories about how they fought as kids. Gone to soon, we will all miss him dearly and will never forget his many talents, knowledge and selfless nature. We will love you always.
