Stephan W. Troxel, 57, of Hoopeston, passed away at 4:46 a.m. Tuesday, July 4, 2017 at his home. He was born July 30, 1959, in Danville, the son of Francis and Barbara (Chaney) Troxel.
He is survived by three sons, Jeremy Troxel of Ridgeway, Pa., Erich Troxel of Alabama, and Tristin Troxel of Idaho; a special best friend, Patty Hermann of Hoopeston; and his parents of Hoopeston.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents and a sister, Lori Troxel.
He worked as a union plumber in Tennessee. He attended Hoopeston Community Church of the Nazarene. He enjoyed fishing, riding his motorcycle, and hanging out with his dog, Sadie. Stephan loved spending time with his family and friends.
Per his wishes cremation rites will be accorded. A graveside service will be held 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 11, at Floral Hill Cemetery, in Hoopeston, with Pastor Jeff Alexander officiating.
