Ronald Eugene Pundt, 62, of Danville, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 4, 2017, at Presence USMC in Danville.
Visitation will be noon-2 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 12, at Pape Family Funeral Home, 10 E. Williams St., Danville. Services will immediately follow with no graveside services.
Ronald was born April 14, 1954, in Danville to Edward and Alice (Sasseen) Pundt. He graduated from Rossville High School.
For the last 22 years he worked at Bell Sports in Rantoul on the assembly line.
Ron was an avid Cubs fan, enjoyed gardening, and could often be found padiddling with things at home. He also was passionate about Country and Oldies music, never without something on the radio.
Ronald leaves behind his wife, Theresa (Lammey) Pundt; six children, Ronnie Pundt, Lee Lammey, Chad (Amy) Pundt, Amber (Joe) Stockwill, Angel (Nate) Irvin and Danielle (JD) Reed; 18 grandchildren; six brothers, Robert Pundt, Greg (Carolyn Ross) Pundt, John Pundt, Dave (Carol) Pundt and Ed (Kay) Pundt; one sister, Joyce (Andrew) Kaurshis; and special buddy, Peanut. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Charles Pundt.
