DANVILLE - Raymond Guy Calton, 71, of Danville, passed away at 2 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 5, 2016, at Presence United Samaritans Medical Center, Danville.
Raymond was born July 27, 1945, in Milwaukee, Wis., to Marion and Irene Cooper Calton. He married Helen Christine Roach in Danville in November of 1966. She preceded him in death May 3, 2012.
Surviving are two sons, Carl Lee Calton of Danville and Danny James (Emily) Calton of Danville; three brothers, Eugene (Betty) Calton of Grand Rapids, Mich., Carl Calton of Danville and Eddie Calton of Indianapolis; one sister, Evelyn Burke of Oakwood; grandchildren, Jessica (Anderson) Scott of Collison, Jenifer (Micheal) Mack of Hillery, and Dalton Vance of Mississippi; and four great-grandchildren: Rylee Ann and Remly Scott of Collison and Serenity and Aiden Mack of Hillery. He was preceded in death by one sister, Mary Bloomfield and one brother, Danny Calton.
Raymond was a painter and a dry waller. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and old cars. He was a Mason. He attended Danville Connexion Church.
Funeral Services: 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 9, at Robison Chapel, Catlin, with Pastor Kurt Sovine officiating. Burial in Newtown Hebron Cemetery, Oakwood. Visitation 5-7 p.m. Monday, August 8, at Robison Chapel, Catlin.
