Randy Lee Edenburn, 58, of Georgetown, passed away Friday, Dec. 9, 2016 at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana with his family by his side. He was born Dec. 14, 1957, in Danville, to Phyllis G. Seibert and Franklin D. Edenburn.
Randy was a 1976 graduate of Georgetown High School. He was employed by many of the local factories including Chicago Molding (Georgetown Plastic Factory), MasterGuard, & McLane's. He also enjoyed fishing, mushroom hunting, watching the Chicago Bears, Cubs, Blackhawks, and the Fighting Illini, NASCAR, and most of all, listening to classic rock music. He had a special place in his heart for his four legged companions; Buddy and Angel.
Randy is survived by his mother, Phyllis Seibert; two brothers, Harold Edenburn, and Mark (Polly) Edenburn of Georgetown; one aunt Sherry Wheeler of Danville; two cousins; nieces and nephews; and great-nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Franklin; daughter, Robin; and aunt, Judy Williams.
In keeping with Randy's loving and generous spirit, it was his decision to donate to Gift of Hope through tissue and organ donation.
A celebration of Randy's life will be at Georgetown American Legion Post 203, 103 East West Street, Friday, Dec. 16, from 3-8 p.m. Dinner will be provided.
