Danville - Patrick Harry Hardesty, 66, of Danville passed away at 12:30 a.m. Wednesday, April 12, 2017, at Presence Covenant Medical Center in Urbana.
He was born on March 17, 1951 in Danville, IL the son of George and Beverly Livengood Hardesty. Survivors include 5 brothers, George E. (Julie) Hardesty of Carrier Mills, IL, Ronnie L. Hardesty of Branson, MO, Thomas A. (Rosemary) Hardesty of Ozark, MO, Terry C. (Wendy) Hardesty of Galena, MO, and Robert L. (Joy) Hardesty of Somerville, TN; 5 sisters, Connie G. (David) Murdock of Pataskala, OH, Deborah L. (Daniel) Simonin of Branson, MO, Anita M. (David) Isaacson of Indianapolis, IN, Barbara B. (Robert) Mann of Bremen, OH, and Malissa F. (Robert) Weiser of Catlin, IL; a host of nieces and nephews, who loved and appreciated him, and other family who will miss him dearly. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Patrick was a veteran of the US Navy, retiring after 17 years of service. He enjoyed working on cars. He was a science buff and a very inventive thinker.
Memorial service 11:30 am Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at The Assembly of God Church 428 N. Walnut, Danville, IL 61832 with burial at Danville National Cemetery at 1pm with military rites conducted by Westville American Legion Post 51.
