CATLIN - Naomi Drollinger Jones, 86, of Catlin, passed away Thursday, September 21, 2017, at her home.
She was born April 28, 1931, in Goldbug, Ky., to Robert and Savannah May Carr Monhollen.
Naomi married Guy Drollinger on March 2, 1950, in Catlin, Ill. He passed away October 25, 1966. She later married Morris Jones, and he preceded her in death.
Survivors include a son, Robert (Fran Appel) Drollinger of Oakwood; two daughters, Candace Drollinger of Port Townsend, Wash., Penny (Steve) Davis of Mahomet, Ill.; three grandchildren, Steven (Nicole) Drollinger, Stacey Drollinger, Stefanie Davis; three great-grandchildren. She also was preceded by an infant son and an infant daughter Carla Lynn.
Naomi was an active member of Catlin Church of Christ, serving in various areas of church work, including funeral dinners, attendance and greeter. In addition to her church, she enjoyed reading, walking, puzzles, sending cards, attending car shows, listening to gospel music and watching baseball games.
Spending time with her family and friends was her greatest pleasure. She will truly be missed.
Funeral services: 10 a.m. Thursday at Catlin Church of Christ with Chris Lawler to officiate. Burial: Sunset Cemetery in Danville. Visitation is from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday at Robison Chapel in Catlin. Memorials to her memory to Catlin Church of Christ.
