Mildred K. "Kathy" Davis, 73, of Decatur, passed peacefully from her earthly life to her eternal heavenly home on Saturday, Jan. 7, 2017, surrounded by her family.
A service to celebrate Kathy's life will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 11, in the chapel at Eastern Star Home, Macon, Ill. Burial will follow at Stearn Cemetery, Fithian, Ill. Family suggests memorial donations in Kathy's name be directed to Lost & Found Ministry Thrift Store. Tanzyus-Logan Funeral Service and Care, Decatur, is in charge of the arrangements.
Kathy was born Nov. 27, 1943. She thoroughly enjoyed her career as a beautician.
She leaves behind her children, Deborah (Robert) Phillips of Moweaqua, Ill., and David (Lisa) Davis of Fithian, Ill.; grandchildren, Holly (Brian) Jenkins of Decatur, Abby Lowe of Decatur, Wade Lowe of Decatur, Kaylee (Michael ) Andrews of Alvin, Ill., and Ashley Davis of Danville, Ill.; great grandchildren, Jacob Jenkins, Emma Jenkins, Makenna Andrews and Kason Andrews; sisters, Connie Price of Decatur, and Marsha (Carl) Bosch of Georgetown, Ill.
Kathy was preceded in death by her parents, a niece and three great-nephews.
