Laura Krage, 56, of Tilton, died peacefully in her home surrounded by family and friends June 12, 2017. Born April 8, 1961 in Sterling, Ill., she is predeceased by her parents, Patricia Walker and Billy Jo Wilcoxen and her brother, James Walker.
Laura graduated from Westville High School in 1979. She is survived by three children, Heather Eller of Tilton, Shane Krage of Danville, and Randall Nance of Westville; sisters, Rita Huff of Catlin, Janet Nance of Lawton, Okla., Diane Baugh of Chrisman, Lisa McConnell-Pollock of Arizona and a brother Terry Rameiz of Sterling, Ill.; and grandchildren, Emilee Eller, Cole Eller, Desirae Krage and Izabel Starwalt. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews that love and care very much for her.
Laura worked for Steel Grip, Inc. and HeatCraft before they closed. She received her CNA license and cared for people in their homes until starting at Krupp Gerlach before cancer prevented her from working.
Laura enjoyed attending her grandkids sport activities, gambling, yard work, planting flowers and taking drives on Friday nights with her best friend, Jamine Stingley. She liked fishing, rummaging and going mushrooming on the weekends. She loved most of all spending time with her friends and family.
A memorial service will be June 15, at Kennekuk Cove County Park, 22296 Henning Rd., Danville, in the big red barn from 4-7 p.m.

The Family would like to thank Carle Hospice for taking such good care of Laura and being there for the family in our time of need. A special thanks to her Dr.'s and nurses at Carle Cancer Center for their care in her journey. A very special thank you to her family and friends that were there the last days. It meant the world to her and her children.
