Labresha R. Lillard was called home to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, Feb. 18, 2017.
Private family services were Friday at Pape Family Funeral Home in Danville.
Labresha was born Aug. 11, 1997, in Danville to her biological parents, Aveonne T. Lillard and Tasha Beck. She was adopted by her loving great-grandparents Berlin and Georgia Lillard at the tender age of 8-and-a-half months old.
Bre, as she was often called, graduated from DHS in 2015. She loved to sing, often writing and recording her own songs, and to experiment with new hairstyles and makeup. Bre enjoyed working with the elderly at local nursing homes, allowing her to pursue her passion of helping others. She enjoyed people and had an infectious smile and positive personality that made people fall in love with her.
Bre leaves behind her mother, Georgia Lillard; her biological father, Aveonne Lillard (Crystal); her biological mother, Tasha Beck; her brothers and sisters, Meionna Lillard, Aveonne Lillard Jr., Jasmine Hardrick, Sha'da Hardrick, Renell Hardrick Jr., Ta'shaj Touchstone, La'Mairra Smith, Ador Beck and Rayzina Beck; maternal grandaprents, George Beck and Sabrina Taylor; her paternal grandparents, Alicia Lillard Jackson, Terry Jackson and William Armstrong; a host of aunts, uncles and cousins; and more friends than can be counted.
She will be sadly missed by all. She was preceded in death by her great-grandfather Berlin Lillard and her baby brother, Adjustin L. Beck.
