Karen Marie Troxel, 62 years old, formerly of Danville, Illinois, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, November 3, 2016, in the Emergency Room in Saint Paul, Minnesota.
A private family inurnment will be held at a later date.
Karen was born October 9, 1954, the daughter of Billy G. and Margaret M. (Johnson) Troxel. They survive.
Karen was married to Richard Chuck of Oakland, California. He survives.
From this union they had two sons, Lance (Lam) Chuck of Pismo Beach, California, and Jeremiah (Angela) Chuck of Oakland, California. Karen is survived by two brothers and two sisters, David (Toni) Troxel of Peoria Heights, Illinois, Bill (Bev) Troxel of Willington, Ohio, Connie Troxel of Decatur, Illinois, and Cheryl (Ben) Meier of St. Louis, Missouri. Karen also is survived by many nieces and nephews; many great-nieces and great-nephews; special niece, Jennie (Joe) Belinsky of Owls Head, Maine; special nephew, Kevin (Amber) Royalty of Danville, Illinois; and a special great-nephew, Jordan Belinsky of Owls Head, Maine. Karen was preceded in death by an infant sister, Bonnie L. Troxel; a brother, John E. Troxel; maternal grandparents Celia and Elmer Johnson; and paternal grandparents George and Sarah Troxel.
Karen graduated from Danville High school, Danville, Illinois, class of 1972, were she was on the honor roll. Karen enjoyed reading, helping people and had a strong Christian belief. She was a loving mother, daughter, sister, aunt and great-aunt and will be missed by all.
