Judith Lynn (Bettag) Saeger passed away Aug. 2, 2017, in Hattiesburg, Miss.
Judith, Lynn, or "J.L." as she liked to be called, born June 7, 1948, in Danville, Ill. Her parents proceeded her in death, as did her special kitty, Baby Gracie.
She is survived by her husband, John; three children, Stephanie (Bryan) Sapp, Robin (Jim) Wall and Kristin Kinney; three stepchildren, Jason, Abby and Corrie Saeger; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She has five living sisters, Barbara (Gene) Woodard, Carol (Allen) Denney, Nancy (Fred) Keehner, Tracey Wangler and Cris (Ben) Prince.
Judy attended DACC in Danville. She was an LPN for 34 years. Her favorite job, besides Labor and Delivery, was the job she retired from in 2012 as she nursed our military troops at Camp Shelby in Hattiesburg. That job was an honor for her.
She attended St. John Lutheran Church in Hattiesburg and made many friends including her pastor, John Karle, and her special friends Nancy Kaul, Michelle Hopkins, Janet-Pittman-Nichols, Lisa Lindsay and Judy Domec. Judy's hobbies included, crafting, painting, quilting, scrapbooking and playing Scrabble with any willing victim.
She was kind, caring and loved by those who knew her and she will be missed terribly. Her sense of humor was undoubtedly the most charmingly noted aspect of her life.
Judy will be cremated by Moore Funeral Home in Hattiesburg, Miss. Memorial pending. In lieu of flowers, donate to your nearest city or county animal shelter
