CAYUGA, IND. - Jason L. "Tater" Pritchard, 34, of Cayuga, passed away at 10:26 a.m. EDT Sunday, Aug. 21, 2016 at Union Hospital in Terre Haute, Ind.
He was born April 6, 1982, in Danville, the son of Mary Stonebraker Sapp and Tony Pritchard.
Survivors include his mother and stepfather, Mary (Phillip) Sapp of Cayuga, Ind.; his father and stepmother, Tony (Kathy) Pritchard of Covington, Ind.; maternal grandmother, Juletta Stonebraker of Cayuga, Ind.; paternal grandmother, Sylvia Pritchard of Veedersburg, Ind.; two step-brothers, Robert Hendrickson of Fithian and William hendrickson of Perrysville, Ind.; his godchildren, Hayden and Harmony; several aunts and uncles, Ernest (Judy) Stonebraker of Westville, Cindy (Gene) Johnston of Eugene, Ind., Shorty (Tom) Harms of Silverwood, Ind., Janet (David) Pruitt of Iowa, Cathy (Robert) Eldridge of Newport, Ind., and Roger, Brian and Marsha Pritchard of Veedersburg, Ind.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Toni Pritchard; maternal and paternal grandfathers; one uncle and three cousins.
Jason was an Advanced EMT for Vermillion County Ambulance and had been unable to work for the past five years. He attended North Vermillion High School. Jason enjoyed fishing, hunting, going to Cardinal baseball games and spending time with his godchildren, Hayden and Harmony.
Funeral services: 4 p.m. EDT Wednesday, Aug. 24, at DeVerter Funeral Home in Cayuga, Ind.; Officiating: Pastor Robert Fairchild; Burial: Eugene Cemetery in Eugene, Ind.; Visitation: 1 p.m. EDT Wednesday, Aug. 24, until time of services at the funeral home.
