WEST LEBANON, Ind. — Jane Eileen Moudy, 75, of West Lebanon, passed away at 11:30 a.m. EDT on July 30, 2016, at her home.
Jane was born on Sept. 25, 1940, in Attica, Ind., the daughter of Glen and Wilma Haired Kochell.
She married Robert M. Moudy in 1969 in Covington, Ind. He preceded her in death in February of 1996.
Survivors include three sons, Randy (Tracy) Cushman of West Lebanon, Ind., Greg (Delores) Cushman of West Lebanon, Ind., and Thomas Robert (Stephanie) Moudy of Perrysville, Ind.; two daughters, Fonda (David) Winchester of Greenville, Ill., and Stacy (Randy) Kingrey of Danville; one brother, Jim (Marilyn) Kochell of Stringtown, Ind.; three sisters, Barbara (Walt) Wilson of Covington, Ind., her twin sister, Judy (Don) Payton of Veedersburg, Ind., and Susie Pritchard of Stone Bluff, Ind.; 15 grandchildren, Cory (Amy) Cushman of Williamsport, Ind., Jessica (Derrick) Collins of West Lebanon, Brady Cushman of West Lebanon, Caleb Cushman of West Lebanon, Nicholas (Kadie) Cushman of Hoopeston, Ill., Brandon Cushman of West Lebanon, Shelby Cushman of West Lebanon, Sarah O'Dell of Greenville, Ill., Lindsay Kingrey of Danville, Jenna Kingrey of Danville, Hannah Moudy of Cayuga, Ind., Colton Moudy of Perrysville, Ind., Cory (Lyndy) Perrin of Stockwell, Ind., and Megan Perrin of Indianapolis; five great-grandchildren, Taylor Hoffman, Benson Cushman, Eliza Cushman, Preston Cushman and Jagger Perrin; a special friend, John Henry; as well as her special pastor, Robert Trafford.
Jane was preceded in death by her parents; husband; Robert; three brothers, Dale, Richard and Glen Jr. Kochell; two sisters, Francis Flynn, and Marie Canine; as well as one great-grandchild; Elijah Cushman.
Jane loved her children dearly, and cherished spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and best friend; John Henry. She was a member of West Lebanon Church of the Nazarene.
Jane also enjoyed hummingbirds and was an avid St. Louis Cardinals baseball fan. She worked outside the home as a bus driver for many years with the Jamaica School District. Jane also owned and managed the Roberts Drive-In in Covington, managed the A&W in Danville and worked in production at Quaker Oats Company in Danville.
Per Jane's wishes, cremation rites will be accorded and private family services will be held. Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 3940 N. Vermilion St., in Danville is assisting the family with arrangements.
