He was a diehard Cardinal Fan but came from a family of Cub Fans. Jim retired from Danville's Provena United Samaritans Medical Center after 31 years of service.
Jim leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Kathy; his mother, Helen; daughters, Kathy Sue (Dennis) Hillard of Williamsport, Ind., Vickie (AJ) Chappel of Danville, Jennifer (John) Stevens of Sidell; a son, James "Jimmy" (Missy) White of Danville; grandchildren, Katelyn (Justin) Walters, Dennis Hillard, Jason and Amber Hardin, Aharon and Deon Chappel, Khole and Ariel White, Kody White and Savanna Stevens; great-grandchildren, Kali, Emma, and Karley Waters; sisters, Patty White and Marsha White; one niece, Ashley; and several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
