Growing up, Imogene enjoyed her doll that she had and turned that passion into collecting dolls during her life. She never knew a stranger and enjoyed visiting with people. She loved to take care of her house, especially when it came to washing dishes and crocheting.
Imogene cherished the Lord in her life and loved her Church family at Bible Missionary Church in Georgetown. She treasured her family and enjoyed being with them. She will be missed by all those whose lives she touched.
A celebration of Imogene's life will be held at 12 p.m. Tuesday, April 25, at Sunset's Houghton-Leasure Funeral Home, 200 E. West St., Georgetown, with Pastor Roger Mertens officiating. Visitation will be held for one hour prior to her service at the funeral home. She will be laid to rest in McKendree Cemetery. A dinner will be served at Georgetown Community Center (Washington Gym) directly after the service; please bring a covered dish.
Memorial donations may be given in Imogene's name to Bible Missionary Church. Please join her family in sharing memories through her Tribute Wall at www.sunsetfuneralhome.com.
