Hazel Loveless, 79, of Valley Mills, Texas, formerly of Danville, went with the angels Monday, Sept. 26, 2016 at 9:08 p.m. She was born May 5, 1937 to Aretus and Eileene Musson.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husbands, Albert Hickman and Donald Loveless. Her family that will meet her in heaven is an infant daughter, Elaine; brothers, Albert, Robert, Harry and Dennis Musson; and sisters, Mary Moore, Sarah Billings, and Eileene Anders.
She is survived by four children, Cynthia Nelson (Mike) of Covington, Ind., Mark Musson (Cindy) of San Antonio, Texas, and Albert Hickman (Phyllis) and David Loveless (Karrie) of Valley Mills, Texas. She was very proud of her grandchildren, Joshua, Courtney, Mark, Holli, Steven, Albert, April, and Starlina and many great-grandchildren. Also, surviving a beloved brother, William Musson and much loved sisters, Evelyn Williamson, Pat Lacey, Gladys Musson.
Hazel enjoyed her customers delivering their newspapers for Commercial-News. Her collection of dolls, angels, scrapbooking and planting flowers made her smile. She did a lot and asked for nothing. Hazel had a special place in her heart for her nieces and nephews and a good friend, Marilyn Hamer.
A gathering of friends and family will be Oct. 14, at the VA Protestant Chapel in Danville, at 1:30 p.m., she will be laid to rest at Danville National Cemetery next to her husband Albert.
